So I was trying to catch up on the newest Toy Break edition as Kano was on the show with Sket One. Now there’s always a Blind Box time on Toy Break and they pull out some Disney Vinylmations from the Alice in Wonderland set and Kano puts my homie Palmetto on BLAST when talking about who collects these things. CLASSIC! I laughed hella hard. On the real I got a few Vinylmations myself, but only because they are super dope like Rafiki. Have a little toy break. Kano is funny too! Ya Heard!

LOFA SAYS, EEEEEFFFFF UM! LOL nah on the real I really dislike resolutions. Why you gotta make resolutions only to be broken or not followed and make you feel like doodoo! Everyone makes the “lose weight” or “better attitude” or “make more money” or “get a girl pregnant” (ok that’s a joke to see if you reading) resolutions. When you stop eating them salads for loco moco plate lunches or bitching at your coworkers for not doing their jobs properly or whatever you vowed not to do for the new year you regret making the resolution.

Now I’m all about making goals, not resolutions. You make a goal, strive to attain it, and whatever happens happens. You reach the goal, cool, you don’t, no big deal.

While everyone was making resolutions this actually popped in my head and I decided if I was to make a resolution this would be it.

My first goal is to make French onion soup by hand! Here’s a pic of some french onion I ate in San Diego from the Yardhouse. I love this soup. I don’t know if I love the melted cheese on the top or the soup soaked into the bread or just my crazy love for onions (I think they my favorite veggie, but I hate when you eat choke and you can’t shake the bad breath!). Now its not common to find places serving it in Hawai’i, home to numerous Portagee bean soup or clam chowder offerings as a starter or oxtail (or turkey neck) soup as a main course. I can’t wait to make this myself. If I don’t make it my biggest regret will that it won’t be in my stomach! No negative repercussions. I do have temptations of buying the frozen French onion soup joints at Costco when passing the frozen section, but I gotta stand strong. Hopefully this week I’ll have some boiling on the stove! Fingers crossed!

My second goal for this year is to swim to the Kāne’ohe sandbar. I think for safety issues I’ll paddle out on my bodyboard, but pretty much all Sexy Beast muscle. I actually tried to eat at the new spot at He’eia pier on New Years Day but they closed for the holiday. Word. While there I ran into my art teacher and he caught a papio. Then while looking out to the sandbar I wondered why I never did it before. I remember when I lived in Kahalu’u talking to a few homies about how we couldn’t go to some sandbar party because we never had a boat hookup. During this recent visit it didn’t seem that far, so I put it on my list. I read somewhere that a few military guys kayaked to the sandbar for a Vertical Junkies rager and it took them 45 minutes. Now I’ve paddled to spots farther than the sandbar distance with bigger surf and or stronger currents so this should be no problem for me, right? Maybe I see Kala’i Miller rocking his hele? Or maybe the Queen Anne’s Revenge? We’ll see. For now I focus on the onion soup. What cheese to put on top is my biggest dilemma i think. Mmmmmmm. Cheese.

Watched the Rainbow Wahine Volleyball team at Regionals. USC roofed them to victory. I laughed at every game because the sound guy always played Kreyshawn’s Gucci song. One big room, full of bad bitches indeed! (I mean that in a good way ladies! Congrats! Time to add another year to the banner!).

KTC & DJ EnJay dj’ed the b-boy/all styles battles at World of Dance Hawaii. While they watched the dance floor get heated me and 808AllDay Brandon got stuck listening to multiple wack djs try to drown the other soundsystems as their crews showed off their cars at Hot Import Nights. HIN SUCKED BALLS! Wekfest the week before was way better. HIN has sucked for a few years now (I used to go to all the car shows and I’m glad I stopped going!). This one guy came to the booth looking for some stickers to rock on his ride. He laced up his ride with LS stickers. Thanks! Shout outs to that guy that told me “I just wanna see Francine Dee!”. She didn’t disappoint her fans.



Suppose to give you the heads up on these but the homies went back to Japan today. These tiny donuts are filled with custard, cream cheese, strawberry, guava, chocolate, whatevers. They super good. Called Petite Custa Ginza. I gonna miss you Japanese geniuses!
While holiday shopping and you gotta eat at Ala Moana go eat at the Fat Greek! Gyros for days! Even Klash eats there! Seen him eating it before I ordered mine!

This year’s Tree Lights at Ala Moana wasn’t that great songwise. Coulda sworn last year choreography was way doper. And they don’t turn off the lights near center stage no more! BOOOO!

Highlight of the show is when they play the Brothers Caz snow song and MAKE IT SNOW IN THE MALL! It’s pretty fun. For the keikis it’s fun too I guess? HAHAHHAHAA

I was suppose to do a post about how I kinda like the new beer garden in Shirokiya. Whoever decided to revamp the upstairs is a genius! They got ramen battles and curry battles. I DID THE BLASPHEMY! I ate tantan not from GOMA IICHI (TEI YOU CAN SUCK MY BALLS FOR THE REST OF YOUR CHOMP CHOMP BITING LIFE!). Was from Tokyo’s #1 ramen spot. My girl said if I didn’t like tantan from there I won’t like true Japanese tantan. Maybe she right. CkaweekS said tantan is different there than Hawaii tantan. One more reason I love Hawaii. We also did the curry battle and I liked the Indian curry better than the Shirokiya curry when I ate the challenge, but when I went back a different day and ordered only the Indian curry I didn’t enjoy it as much. Maybe only in small amounts. It started off good but when I got toward the end of the plate I was kinda sick of the taste. I can’t wait for them to sell hamburger curry. I still like Curry House and order it with cheese.

The best part about Turkey Day is the Turkey. I got a free one from Foodland and a second one for about $5. I started late and the second bird didn’t finish cooking till after we started eating already. My fam devoured the first bird completely (first time ever) so a second bird was all leftovers. Unfortunately the people in my house loved my cooking so much they almost ate the entire second bird! I was all “how I gonna make turkey sandwiches?” My moms made ham for thanksgiving and I was all “why ham we got birds?”. But guess what…I love eating my ham sammies more than tom turkey ones! Blasphemy! Oh I enjoyed so much ham & cheese that I had to buy more cheese to go with the ham. Sadly both ham and bird no longer live in the fridge. They went swimming in the toilet. I still considering the idea of turkey again next week. Pass the miracle whip! (I like that stuff, it’s a haole thing but it got zip!). I also thinking about making meatloaf cus they make mean leftover sandwiches too!

I kinda want to make this happen for real!

Been listening to them radio ads and tv ads asking people to pray with their families. I think it’s ballsy but I agree with it. The ads say “pray with your family, friends, coworkers, etc.” Cool. “You will be blessed”, BALLSY! Don’t get me wrong I truly believe that YOU WILL BE! But I just wanna hear someone’s story saying they never prayed EVER and they did for the first time this Turkey Day and Jesus hooked them up! No joke. If you prayed this first time ever this Thanksgiving weekend and you get blessed abundantly I wanna know. Serious.

This Thanksgiving I have SO MUCH to be thankful for. Last year I wanted my year to be dope all year long, it wasn’t. It was almost the second hardest year of my life. This year ROCKS SO MUCH FOR ME! Don’t wanna brag but I’ve been happy with just not needing to be homeless or super broke (I’m broke but I still got means). This thanksgiving enjoy the blessing you do have but overlook on a daily basis. I’m thankful you read this even though I slack on my updates! Test the ads and pray, we wait for results together!
